DayStar Thermal System furnishing domestic hot water as well as a supplement source of heat for the radiant floor heating system.
The system consists of a DayStor e-120 with 240 ft² of  collection.  Additional 120 gallons of water storage is provided for space heating storage with 80 gallons for dedicated domestic hot water  bringing the total storage to 320 gallons.  Potable water is used as the heating medium for the radiant floor.  Collectors are DayStar 40005 4' x 10' by Heliodyne.  This DayStar System can furnish up to 240,000 BTUs per day additional heat as well as the majority of the domestic hot water throughout the year.
The radiant heating used throughout this unique house was installed by Bobcat & Sun.  Primary heat source is a Viessmann Vitodens 200 boiler.
