Memaloose State Park, Oregon

Oregon Parks and Recreation Department contracted with Cascade Sun Works to design and furnish a solar system that could be readily adapted to a variety of existing as well as new State Park buildings.  Memaloose State Park is the pilot project.

Commercial DayStar Thermal System furnishing hot water for multi shower restroom facility located in the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area.  DayFlow multi-zone control with 320 ft² of collection, 250 gallons storage and Takagi T-M1 back-up.  This system can produce over 320,000 BTUs of hot water per day.
